BETTINA BÜHLER
I myself come from the Bernese Oberland, where I grew up and have always lived. I found my home here in Spiez. I am happy and comfortable in my house and am happy to open it up to guests thanks to the little holiday apartment and the double room I can offer.
This is also where I practise my profession: As a medical massage therapist with many additional qualifications, I consciously approach each person and perceive them as a whole - my profession is my vocation! Who would have thought it: it all started with training as a baker and confectioner, a job that I liked and enjoyed doing. But I had to give it up because of an allergy. After a long trip to America and Canada, I decided to train as a medical massage therapist. I also worked as a fitness trainer and took care of the Swiss national cycling team for several years.
In 1997, I was able to open my own medical massage clinic here in Spiez. And in 2008 I moved into my house, which was built with many of my own ideas and wishes in mind. In the years before and after, right up to the present day, I have traveled extensively at home and abroad. On the one hand, to expand my professional knowledge, often with further training in the field of alternative and natural therapies. On the other hand, to travel myself, be it cross-country skiing in Lapland, trekking on foot in Nepal or for an Ayurveda cure in India.
From my many travels, I know what is important and desirable for a guest. I try to implement this for my guests in my house. I also like to pass on my knowledge of the area, which I know and love very well. I spend a lot of time on the lake and in the mountains myself, in winter and summer, and can give you tips on all kinds of excursions and tours.
I would be happy to welcome you in my house!
